This is our 2HPS for Double Helix Planter Stand. It simplifies the task a lot, but you can synchronize your pot planting without using it if you have enough backyard space.

Our method came from our experience in synchronized-balanced production applied to gardening.

The goal is to have a continuous food flow with little work because we usually have a city job that demands time.

And the method is straightforward: You plant the number of plants that will yield your weekly consumption every week.

And to achieve that, you only need to know how many plants your planter will optimally hold and how many weeks it will take to get the first lettuce.

Why is it important to know the growing lettuce cycle in weeks?

Well, because those two numbers (plants per planter and growing cycle) will tell you how much space you need.

The numbers are easy on answering the how many lettuce plants per person question: One lettuce per plant, three plants per 660 cubic inches planter, and twelve weeks life cycle.
In other words, you will need space for sixteen planters if you consume four lettuces per week.

And, of course, you don’t have to be constrained by our 2HPS, but it can greatly help optimize your backyard space and better organize your weekly farming.

Also, you don’t have to buy it. We give all the details on how to build it.
